1How long does a wood floor take to install?
It can vary considerably, but a good guide is 10 square metres a day for domestic installations. So, for example, a 40 square metre area (e.g. 10m x 4m) would take about 4 days.

2Do I have to move all the furniture out?
As much as possible yes, although in some instances furniture can be moved from one side of the room to another as the floor is installed. We can discuss this as part of our initial home visit.
-
3Can you install wood floors over underfloor heating?
All engineered wood floors are suitable to go over underfloor heating and all our products are available in solid and engineered formats.
-
4Are wood floors suitable for bathrooms?
No, not really. Wood manufacturer guarantees do not generally cover installations in bathrooms due to the increase in humidity caused by showers or baths. You can however use them in WC's.
-
5Are they suitable in kitchens?
Yes, perfectly ok.

6How do I maintain my wood floor?
Daily sweeping with a broom or swiffer mop, vacuuming when required and a re-oil on average every 12-18 months should keep the floor in great shape.

7Can I wash the floor?
Yes, with a well rung out mop and our 'Wash and Care' product is fine.
